Tyler Harris has it all, but he's not sure he wants it anymore.

With two Championship rings, he's at the top of his game with nowhere to go but down. He's the best quarterback in the league, not to mention gorgeous and rich. So why does he feel so detached?

The victim of a sistervention and the untimely death of a great uncle, Tyler is whisked away from a night of Super Bowl celebrations. Next thing he knows, he's stuck on a run-down estate in Washington's San Juan Islands with no TV, no Internet, no cell phone service. He hates the isolation but must stay in residence for ninety days or forfeit his inheritance--a decaying mansion nestled on priceless waterfront property. If he doesn't fulfill the terms of the will, the estate goes to a group of geriatrics and his neighbor, a fiery red-haired animal communicator.

He didn't bank on the odd attraction he would feel toward his neighbor. Nor did he consider the power of one small orange tabby cat in his life.
