Scoring Series will be Vertical Movies by ReelShort

As many of you know, ReelShort adapted Shutout into a vertical movie titled Breaking the Ice two years ago. While the characters resembled my characters, the plot was completely different and the team was not my team.

Shutout will be re-done as part of this deal. ReelShort will be using my Sockeyes team and the movies will be set in Seattle. It’s my understanding that the plots will more closely follow what’s in my books.

Seeing this world I’ve created come alive is something I’ve only dreamed of. Now it’s happening.
